Dear Friends,

Your fellow IFMA members are aware of the wide-spread destruction and dreadful loss of life resulting from Hurricane Katrina and its related severe storms.

The entire IFMA community would like to extend its heart-felt condolences and support to you -- our IFMA members, colleagues and families who have been affected by this storm. Further, we wish to compliment and acknowledge the Federal, State and local emergency teams and volunteers providing swift and compassionate support to all in need. We stand with you.

If you are adversely impacted or aware of another IFMA member affected, please let us know. Should you require special assistance contacting members or need support with disaster recovery and contingency planning resources, please call upon us to help. We can be reached at +1-713-623-4362 or at membership@ifma.org.

Hurricane Katrina will leave a tragic and lasting impact on the United States and so many people in the Gulf Coast region. Though today we do not fully understand the storms' impact, our colleagues worst affected are in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

During this difficult time and what is expected to be a prolonged recovery period, you and your families are in our hearts and thoughts—every day.

Sincerely,

Joseph M. “Matt” Dawson
Chairman, Board of Directors
